Gina’s Garden Lodges is owned and operated by traditional leader, Queen Manarangi Tutai and her husband Des Clarke. Their property is located on secluded grounds near Tautu Village, amongst beautiful tropical gardens.
Tautu Landing is a short walk from Ginas Garden Lodges. Here you can swim, picnic or just relax on this island paradise. Tautu Village has two small grocery shops and Café Tupuna, a fairly new little eatery with great food and a pleasant atmosphere.
It is only a short drive into the main town centre of Arutanga. Here you will find a Post Office, Bank, market place, and a fully stocked grocery store. Try the Fishing club at the harbour if you are looking for a night out with the locals.
Gina’s Garden Lodges offers four spacious units, beautifully decorated with locally tie-died curtains and bed spreads. Each unit is self contained with most necessities available - a refrigerator, stove top, toaster, microwaves, and tea pot. In-season fresh fruit and vegetables are offered to guests if available. The Clarke’s have upgraded their property by putting in a brand new 11metre swimming pool with a large sun deck and barbeque area. Great for swimming laps, or just lounging in the sun.

Akaiami Island is a coral island situated five miles across from the mainland on the outer coral reef of Aitutaki lagoon. This secluded island boasts beautiful white sand beaches, and is an excellent snorkelling location.
The Clarke’s have just finished renovating their Akaiami beach house, offering guests the unique experience of staying on their own island paradise.

Your hosts can assist with arranging tours and excursions such as Lagoon Cruises, Deep Sea Fishing, Scuba Diving and Island Night Dinner and Show. They can also arrange rental car hire, push bikes and motor scooters.
Gina’s Garden Lodges
*Each unit will accommodate 4 adults, or 3 adults and 2 children (Children - 10 to 15)
*All units have a double bed and one single bed down stairs and two single beds in the loft.
*All units are serviced daily.
*All units have mosquito netted windows, pedestal fans, and full cooking facilities, hot water, and a television. (local programming from 6pm to 11pm nightly).
